Rose Glycerite (non-alcoholic, 1 oz)

Sale Price: $18.00 Original Price: $20.00

This is a special rose medicine, made with fresh rose petals from my own garden, steeped for two months in vegetable glycerin, so this is a non-alcoholic tincture, for those who cannot use alcohol for whatever reason! Red and pink rose varieties  are most often used by herbalists—this elixir uses red, pink and white.

Rose (petals) can be a very opening plant ally, connecting to water and the sacral chakra. Associated with the heart, it can assist us with moving through grief, heartache, burnout, an energetically broken or blocked heart, or depression. Rose can also be a heart-opener for trauma that we may be storing in the pelvic region.

Give your heart and spirit a gentle, soothing hug with this seasonal rose friend from the pacific northwest.

Tastes lovely by itself, or added to tea or sparkling water in place of other sweeteners. Can be taken any time of day.

Ingredients: Fresh rose petals, organic vegetable glycerin, filtered water.
In a 1 oz dropper-top bottle (about 30 servings)

Herbal actions: Astringent, Anti-inflammatory,  Antidepressant,  cardiotonic (mild),  nervine aphrodisiac, carminative, vulnerary

Energetics & properties:  Sweet, bitter, cooling, dry, light

*Note: Vegetable glycerin tastes very sweet, but is a sugar alcohol that is considered Low Glycemic Index, and has been shown to not significantly raise blood sugar—so it is generally safer for diabetics.
